common question in bible ?

What do you think about speaking in tongues?

The principles of 1 Corinthians 12-14 address three issues regarding spiritual gifts: (1) gifts should be used to edify the body, not oneself; the more important gifts are the ones that help the body grow; (2) the pinnacle of growth is love (relationships), not experience nor knowledge—thus, both charismatics and cessationists can gain more balance in these matters; (3) all things must be done in order, and tongues are especially regulated. All of these instructions take the pizazz out of tongues. Let’s suppose the speaking in tongues is genuine. If that’s the case, I wouldn’t worry about it. Paul’s view on tongues is that it is one of the least important gifts. Yet many in the charismatic/pentecostal church make it THE sign of salvation. Unfortunately, those who speak in tongues often (not always!) view themselves as more spiritual than others. 1 Corinthians 13 kills that approach decisively.

Does the Bible speak more about Hell than Heaven?

I’ve heard and read the same statement a number of times, but have never troubled myself to look up each passage.

Where is Hell is located?

Actually, the Bible does not tell us where Hell is located. In 2 Pet. 2:4, the statement, “cast them into hell,” has been translated by some as “cast down to hell,” but the Greek actually means, “cast into tartarus,” a place of torment and confinement. Others have sought to use Eph. 4:9, “(Now this expression, “He ascended,” what does it mean except that He also had descended into the lower parts of the earth?” to indicate that hell was in the center of the earth, but this is questionable because the passage is talking about the grave, not hell. Compare the comment below from the Bible Knowledge Commentary.
